Doni Wijayanto

He is the VAI founder and a volcano tour guide on his own company, He undoubtedly has huge knowledge about details of volcano’s world. More than 20 years he has dedicated his life to volcano and often touched with various hazardous of Volcano.

He has lovely family that always gives him support to what he does, as he said, ”As long as I’m still breathing, I will dedicate all of my life to my lovely family and volcano that is now become my second wife”. Almost all over Indonesia volcano he has been discovered, stretching from mount Jaya Wijaya – Papua Irian Jaya, until mount Louser – Banda Aceh Sumatera. He is very nice and friendly man. He also speaks fluency English, German, Switzerland, Japan, and 10 different tribe languages.

As his motto “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing”. So, if you have an opportunity to join  his volcano tour “the rings of fire”, you will find how friendly and nice Doni is.

Bambang Wijayanto

Since 1991 he has been a tour guide for mount Bromo-Semeru after graduated from a Tourism Academy of Bali at 1990. Was born in Surabaya but grown up and live in Probolinggo, makes him feel very close to mt. Bromo. Simply, Smiles Readily and positive thinking is his style. He speaks Indonesian and English, and few tribe languages such as Java and Madurese.

Riding motor-cycle on the mountain is the most of his interest to do. Some out door activities would be the most his favourite such as: Rafting, Touring, and Jungle Trekking. Active in organisation concerning with environment and safety, as he said,” No compromise on safety”.

His background education is computer department, but, his loving devotion to the adventure has defeated everything.

Many places he has been visited, he reached them by motor-cycle or trekking. The most often place to be visited is Bromo and Semeru, he said, “By breathe in Semeru/Bromo fresh air, will make us having long life”

Friendly figure and easy going is one of his distinctive features. Never give-up and hate to the words of “CAN NOT DO IT”  makes him more confident. By having strong will and hard work, we can reach anything we wish.We are certain that he is the right person to be part of Volcano Adventure Indonesia big families.

Dimas

He is still young, but his experience in the field of photography is completely un-doubtful. Graduated from IKJ (Institut Kesenian Jakarta), department of photography, he is officially listed as contributor of NHK Jakarta. With beloved DSLR Camera of Nikon D-40, Cannon EOS 30D and EOS 1Ds MK II, he is ready to take V.A.I client(s) to hunt of best pictures among the danger of throwing blazing lava ejection and sounds thundering of volcano eruption.

Besides guiding, he is also ready to give short course about photography techniques to every one who wishes to. Easygoing, friendly and cheerful is his character style, so everybody will feel comfort during stay close with him, as he said, “With smile everything is running well”.

Uncle Tris

His capability on driving is undoubtful, excellent track record on defensive driving has been proof that he could be relied on. Any kind of difficult off-roads and hard weathers is not gonna be a big deal for Pakde (uncle) Tris. With a lovely 4x4 wheel drive, or free wheel of light vehicle, makes him always ready all the time to take our client deep into jungle forest, or on an extreme steepness or smoothly flat road. Calm and always keep smiling on any difficult situation makes every passenger feel comfort and safe along their journey.
