Thermo volcanic quake has also continues happen until 60 times with amplitude 5mm-20mm. Besides, this mountain continually thundering comes from the summit. It is clearly heard from mount Slamet observatory station at Gambuhan village, Pulosari Pemalang resort.

Head of observatory said that on Friday, 24 April, the mountain lying at 3.432m from above sea level, had acted  26 times smoke eruption with elicit blazing lava together with swing throw of 50-700 meters high. Its smoke eruption also followed with level quake for about 27 times with amplitude 3-12mm.

The intensity of the mount activity constantly increases, but it can not be seen since  the peak of the mountain is covered-up by the thick fog until 15.00 hours today (24/04/09).
